Abstract
Stem cells in regenerative medicine have become key players, strong potential for tissue or organ repair, replace and regenerate, disease modelling, and new therapeutics approach. Ability to self-renew and differentiate into multiple desired cell lineages ,making it more valuable for treating wide range of diseases including cardiovascular diseases, osteoarthritis disorder, neurodegenerative disorders and also in cancer. Recent research and innovation progress in pluripotent stem cells technologies, special induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). have enabled therapeutics in new era of medicines. Inclusion of stem cell research with personalized medicine is supporting development of precise targeted and effective treatments with lesser side effects. Advanced technique and innovation like organoids, 3D bioprinting, disease model and organ-on-chip systems, along with biomaterial enhancement, scaffold and extracellular vesicles, improving application of the stem cells in both research and innovation as well as clinical application. Technologies provide more realistic human tissue models and improve prediction of treatment outcomes via disease models which one directly supports clinical trials. Rather than these advancements, lots of challenges remain, including standard compliance and regulatory limitations. Critical examination of translational barriers and future directions necessary to realise full clinical potential of stem cell technologies, in regenerative medicine and personalized therapeutics. Very essential to continue this interdisciplinary research and innovation with advancing safety, effectiveness and patient-specific regenerative therapies.References
